Wilderness Retreat in the Gloucester Tops

Join us for a delightful weekend retreat along the beautiful Gloucester River. Enjoy guided yoga and meditation, lovingly cooked fresh food, and stacks of free time to explore and be still.

The retreat venue is a secluded property within the Gloucester Tops mountains with direct private river front access to the pristine Gloucester river. The property boosts deep natural swimming holes, rapids, walking trails and plenty of individual hide away meditation spots.

The large main deck is set among the trees overlooking the river below and will be our yoga shala for the weekend as well as where we will share a meal, learn and connect with each other around the large open fire pit.

We rise in the morning to a led Ashtanga Yoga class and begin our days of exploration and upliftment, under the clear blue sky and the tall gum trees, along with pranayama, before retiring for free time for reading, walking, swimming, or chatting.

We proceed onto a Kundalini-stoking practice of spiritual insights with chanting and breathwork. You feel a lightness and ease that is unparalleled in modern society. Having settled deeply into the space, we explore pranayama, meditation, and techniques to increase your energy, along with discussion of the philosophy of yoga, higher consciousness, and how it applies to the way we live our life.

“I couldn’t believe how relaxed I felt! It seemed like I was away for a whole week. My family are very keen for me to go again…”

Retreats begin at 5pm in the afternoon of the Friday and finish at midday on the Sunday. Private rooms with a double bed are $500, and you can have an extra person in the room for an additional $300. Camping is $300 per person. Discounts available for repeat attendees. Pricing includes everything you need: accommodation, fresh organic meals, yoga and meditation classes.
